This handy, easy to use Light Duty Hydraulic Swaging Tool is suitable for crimping (also called 'swaging' - pronounced 'sway-jing') stainless steel, copper and aluminium fittings for wire rope. It is most commonly supplied residential wire balustrade projects which require crimping M5 and M6 stainless steel swage fittings such as bottlescrews and swage stud terminals for 3.2mm wire.

You can also crimp copper swage fittings such as those for 3.2mm wire (use the #10 dies supplied). Bear in mind the crimp is in a hexagon shape as opposed to the rounded shape you will get with a mechanical swager.

It features a pressure auto-release function that kicks in once the 5T pressure has been reached. This safety feature will prevent damage from over crimping and allows you to quickly crimp without second guessing pressure levels. Not all tools on the market have this feature. It is very handy.
