or fire retardant treatments. Foam Pads Poly ether foam is utilized by Aqua-Link for 2 principle purposes;1. Mechanical filtration

2. Bio Media – Is an
excellent substrate to cultivate “Anaerobic” bacteria when submersed in a wet dry filter. The low pore
count (20 PPI) provides
3 functional advantages that will
accelerate Nitro-bacterium growth:

large surface area for bacteria to attach.
b. Dissolves and reduces
excessive oxygen from entering the media.
c. The compactness will
accomplish its functional goal using only a small portion of the filter unit.
