Here we have an amazing, antique pair of black, gold & polychromed French Empire style tole console lamps featuring pierced urn bases resting on square plinths, and removable multi colored finely detailed floral bouquet tops, the whole affair supported on bun feet. Use them with the floral bouquets or remove them for a totally different look. Heavy ironwork with multi layer colorful flowers. All original paint and gilding with only light ware and some oxidation to the gilding. Totally rewired with original Bakelite plugs. One replaced switch. Each lamp measures 21" tall and weighs over 7 lbs. The bases measure 4-1/2" sq. C.1920's. A magnificent pair of lamps!
