Our Traditional Door Bolt is a 6-inch rustic slide bolt with a fishtail handle in wrought iron and is perfect for an authentic vintage look on cottage and farmhouse doors and cabinets. This particular bolt is the cranked version which is suitable for doors and frames that don't line up.

Our Traditional Door Bolt is an effective 6-inch fishtail cranked slide bolt for adding an authentic vintage touch to cupboards and cloakroom doors and frames that are not perfectly aligned.

Adjustable Slide Bolt

On the standard version of a slide bolt, you'll notice a knurl on top that prevents the bolt from sliding out of its casing. Below it, there's a forged spring providing resistance during operation. We've substituted the knurl with a grubscrew, allowing you to adjust the tension as needed. Additionally, tightening this grubscrew can effectively lock the bolt in place. The lock will be supplied with an Allen key which enables you to put the bolt in any orientation. You can then adjust the tension to your desired position.  This feature is unique to us.
