Framed image measures about 13 x 9 inches, with frame, 15 x 11&1/2 inches. Wooden frame has golden brown velour material on front. Image has not been removed from frame.
Georges Braque 13 May 1882 – 31 August 1963) was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most important contributions to the history of art were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1906, and the role he played in the development of Cubism. Braque’s work between 1908 and 1912 is closely associated with that of his colleague Pablo Picasso. Their respective Cubist works were indistinguishable for many years, yet the quiet nature of Braque was partially eclipsed by the fame and notoriety of Picasso. (support WIKI!)

Condition:
Backing cardboard and tape is brown and brittle. Frame is intact with scuffs in velour and chipping paint on edges. See photos.
Comments:
The pencil signature is visible on back side through a window cut in the backing board. The signature is directly behind the printed signature on the front. It may be that the lower blank edge of the print was folded over for framing. The print has not been removed from the frame. This will be securely packed for a safe ride to your home via insured USPS Priority Mail.
