Also known as Rose Haw or Hep, the Rosehip comes from the Rosa Canina, a thorny rose plant that can grow up to a height of 1 to 5 meters. It can be found in West Asia, Africa and Europe. The plant is also known as Dog Shrub, i.e."Canina" which refers to "dogs". The plant requires moist soil and bright sunlight to thrive and produce round red/orange berries that can grow to 1.5 to 2 cm in size.
