This Pro-Ject Anti-Skate weight is a genuine Pro-Ject spare part, which is an ideal replacement for a lost or damaged anti-skate weight. This weight is suitable for almost all Pro-Ject tonearms. 

Anti skate, as its name suggests, is important to prevent the stylus skating across the LP due to the centripetal forces, and this weight applies it simply via gravity.
