The Bob4Bass Skirted Swinging Football Jig seems like these are one of the most versatile heads I've found. Love the swinging football heads, but how can it be improved on? Add a skirt!  Now it's a weedless jig that doesn't need a weedguard! They will look and act more like crayfish than the crayfish themselves.

This design allows the bait to 'deflect' in random directions as it bumps into any available structure. Similar to fishing a crankbait, the most common time to get bit is during these deflections. They were designed for covering lots of water in a shorter period of time. Large flats with scattered rock would be one example of where to use this lure and technique. Make a long cast and start reeling slow enough to keep in contact with the bottom, but fast enough to keep the bait moving.

Skirt:  Sporting a Bob4Bass Hole in One Skirt.  The Hole-In-One collar is one of the ultimate skirt technologies for producing complex baitfish patterns since the strands can't wiggle out of place. Each strand on these skirts are sandwiched and glued between an outer band and an inner core hub. The Hole-In-One permanently and perfectly locks every strand in their original positions. No other way of banding a skirt does that - not even wire-wrapping the skirt. The strands cannot shift out of place, jumble the colors up or all pile over onto one side or the other. You cannot end up with a lopsided skirt which causes a lure to swim crooked. It always maintains its coloration and symmetrical strand balance. So when you want to represent a small baitfish or complex color pattern that has distinct back, side and belly colors, the Hole-In-One skirt more realistically simulates and maintains a small baitfish or complex configuration.
