You are bidding on a NEW! Vortex 42-Tooth Aluminum Rear Sprocket. Computer designed and machined from the highest quality 7075 aerospace aluminum. Saber tooth grooved for self-cleaning and electrically coated for a brighter finish. This sprocket will work with a 520 chain/sprocket setup (not factory).
Converting to a 520 sprocket/chain system reduces weight and resistance in the drive train. This setup is commonly found on race bikes and street bikes where the rider is looking for more rear-wheel horsepower. Probably not suitable for drag racing applications because of wear. The increase in power produced by converting to a 520 system is found in accelerating from low speeds and not dead starts.
