The WHITE HOUSE GALLERY OF OFFICIAL PORTRAITS OF THE PRESIDENTS was published 1901 by The Gravure Co of America measuring 16 1/4" x 20" with 3/4 leather binding, decorated endpapers, 24 tissue-guarded full page engravings of Presidents from George Washington through William McKinley with text and margin decorations. Laid in is a portrait of Theodore Roosevelt (worn at extremities) and a copy of McKinley's last speech.

The bookplate inside the front cover designates this as copy # 14 allotted to Edgar Penney; there is a stamp on one front endpaper of the Newburgh NY Historical Society.
