FROM A SMOKE AND PET FREE ENVIRONMENT
This is a rare Pope Benedict XVI auction of Citta del Vaticano items directly obtained at papal audiences over the last eight (8) years.
These items were from one private collection -- from Pope Benedict's installation on April 24, 2005 to various papal audiences.
PLEASE NOTE:
I am selling it for a special friend. Please ask questions and serious bidders are appreciated. I will try and answer your questions.
Winning auction includes the following three Pope Benedict XVI items - one (1) of each:
ITEM # 1:
MASS BOOKLET FOR THE INAUGURATION
THE PONTIFICATE OF
POPE BENEDICT XVI
April 24, 2005, St. Peter's Square - Vatican Mass Booklet for the inauguration of the Pontificate of Benedetto XVI.
Rare and impossible to find, these glossy Liturgical mass booklets cannot be bought.
In near-mint and never opened (with spine intact and no crease) condition. Slight light wear along bottom and corner as this was its original condition (please see jpgs for close ups) -- see .jpgs -- around the edges and top/bottom corner but one needs to scrutinize to find minor flaws. I have never opened this booklet.
Measures approximately 6 inches by 4.75 inches in length.
Cover reads in Italian:
INIZIO DEL MINISTERO PETRINO
DEL VESCOVO DI ROMA
BENEDETTO XVI
24 APRILE 2005
These beautiful glossy Liturgical mass booklets were given out to dignitaries, invited guests and those lucky enough to attend Pope Benedict XVI's mass and obtain one. In color and black and white. (Please see jpgs for actual condition - light wear during distribution at Saint Peter's Basilica). Booklet has never been opened except to take these jpgs.;
ITEM # 2:
Official Pope Benedict gold tone key fob for Anno I and made for the Holy Father's pontificate. Just beautiful!
Obverse Reads:
"BENEDICTUS XVI PONT. MAX"
Given out to guests and special visitors with connections within the Roman Curia. Definitely high quality. Nice weight and definitely a beautiful piece. Artist is the famous Italian sculptor: Amalia Mistichelli (as told by another collector).
Comes with its Papal pouch (made of hard plastic - maroon pouch with white coat of arms outline)
PLEASE NOTE:
The faded gold outline coast of arms maroon pouch in one of my jpgs (in this auction) was from my own personal collection and mistakenly used for photo shoot! Sorry, I accidentally took the wrong pouch as I was trying to take these photos before twilight here in the islands!
Maroon pouch has Papal Coat of Arms.
Goldtoned papal keyfob has never been used and kept in its original condition in pouch. Original patina and never been cleaned or polished.
Reverse has a scene with the Apostle Peter, Rome's first Pope. Measures approximately 1.50 inches in diameter.
PLEASE NOTE: The reverse .jpg of keyfob shows a tiny diagonal nick (at the 7 o'clock point) but in actuality, it's difficult to spot in person. I only noticed it when I uploaded the jpg and wanted to be sure to make note of this. Does not distract from beauty of the goldtone key fob; and
ITEM # 3:
Pope Benedict XVI papal pearl rosary in its original white presentation (hard plastic) box with papal coat of arms.
Rosary has the papal coat of arms and Rome's four major Basilicas. I was advised that this has been blessed by our Holy Father at a general audience, and I thought I would include this note.
Just beautiful and my jpg photos don't do these papal collectibles any justice!.
All items have been stored in a smoke and pet free environment.
Never opened until now for this photo shoot. Actual auction jpgs. are attached. Lots aloha and thanks for your patience.
USA shipping is via insured PRIORITY MAIL to ensure a safe and timely delivery.

A portion of the profits will be donated to the Father (now Saint) Damien of Molokai money box located in downtown Honolulu's Cathedral as well as my church's Building Fund.
Thank you so much! Lots Alohas!
