How the Reverse Osmosis System Works?

Reverse Osmosis is a process in which dissolved inorganic solids are removed from a solution (such as water). This is accomplished by household water pressure pushing the tap water through a semi permeable membrane. The membrane (which is about as thick as cellophane) allows only the water to pass through, not the impurities or contaminates. These impurities and contaminates are flushed down the drain.

 

This Pure N Safe 4 stage system has two stages of pre-filtration to ensure the maximum removal of contaminants which are harmful to the reverse osmosis membrane, greatly extending the useful life of the membrane.

Stage 1  - DIRT REMOVAL

First stage of pre-filtration - Membrane protection

Stage 2  - CHLORINE REMOVAL

Second stage of pre-filtration  - Membrane protection

Stage 3 -  ULTRA FINE TFC MEMBRANE

For removal of dissolved solids and suspended matter down to 0.0005 microns

Stage 4  - CARBON POLISHING POST FILTER

Final polish – superb tasting water.
