These motor mount shims are designed for use when swapping a Coyote 5.0 into 79+ Mustangs. When using the stock Coyote Oil pan, there is often interference between the oil pan and stock or aftermarket K-members and/or the steering rack, due to an unusual hump in the pan (shown). Our shim kit comes with two different thicknesses to accommodate most swaps. Stick cars are particularly fussy about shim thickness as the Coyote driver's side cam cover rides very close to the cable adjuster.

Due to the difficulty in installing and removing the Coyote engine from the Fox engine compartment (its a tight fit!), we designed our kit so that the shims could be installed once the motor mount studs were aligned properly with the K-member, so removal of the engine is not required. While convenient, it is important to USE CAUTION and make sure the engine is safely supported when using this method for installation. 

Shims are constructed from billet 6061-T6 aluminum. Made in USA!
