Excellent compression set resistance for maximum service life and vibration absorption. Long-lasting automotive grade EPDM rubber is preferred by professional installers over PVC/foam seals.
No need to replace this seal every time your cap is removed.
Premium Cap Seal XL dimensions are 2" width x .200" height x 23' length.
For truck caps that require less than 23ft of seal use Premium Cap Seal XL 20ft (ebay item: 221541026154).
Fills small to medium bed rail gaps. Use on truck caps that weigh up to 200 lbs. Seal can be easily cut in half to custom fit pickups with smaller width front bed rails. The two cut seals can also be doubled up to .340" to fill varying height gaps from the side rails to the front rail. Complete kit includes seal, butyl tape, alcohol pads and detailed instructions for a professional installation.
NOTE: To determine if you need to use a Front Rail Seal 6ft (ebay item: 321360576249) measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail. If the height of the gap is from .341" to .487" install Front Rail Seal on the cap's front base rail, along with Premium Cap Seal XL 20ft (ebay item: 221541026154) installed on the cap's side base rails. If the height of the gap is extra-large, from .487" to .824" install Front Rail Seal XL on the truck’s front bed rail along with Premium Cap Seal XL 20ft or 23ft installed on the cap’s front and side base rails.
Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal® is for use on all pickups with a truck bed cap or tonneau cover. Installs to the tailgate gap and sidewalls. IMPORTANT: 10ft Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal is not compatible with the following pickups: 2020 and newer Silverado and Sierra 2500 and 3500 (Available Soon), GMC Sierra with MultiPro Tailgate (purchase ebay item: 324135198621), Nissan Titan (Available Soon), Ram with RamBox (purchase ebay item 324326927727) and all pickups outside of the U.S. market.
