Description
Tag Line filters from Amiad have a larger body than other manufactures screen filters and at an economical cost.  Screen Filters are good to use on irrigation systems with clean water (low organic and sand loads). 150 mesh filtration is recommended on most micro or drip irrigation systems to prevent mechanical plugging. The Torpedo insert is available to make these self-cleaning filters (used in high sand load or partical applications where a small portion of the water is discharge out of the bottom valve).  These filters have 2" Male pipe thread inlet and outlet that can be adapted to any line size with PVC adapters.  The 2 inch includes a tap on the inlet and outlet for installing pressure devices to check pressure differential (to determine when to clean the filter screen).
