An essential component for removable handle scales for your custom fixed blade projects.  This hardware set is aesthetically appealing and functional: holds secure without use of epoxy and its mechanical connection allows for convenient removal and re-installation in the field.  Its our favorite alternative to permanently affixed handles.  1/4" dia. screw set is also ideal for use as spacers and/or a pivot bolt in a custom folding knife project! Details:
Tang nuts are designed to fit in a 1/4" diameter tang hole and are 5/16" long. 

When assembled, the nut set can accommodate up to a 1" thick handle when countersunk (5/16" countersink hole, 1/8" deep).  For thinner handle widths, screws can be easily customized (shortened) with a Dremel cut-off wheel.
