ENGLISH COSTUME IN THE AGE OF ELIZABETH, The Sixteenth Century drawn and described by Iris Brooke was published 1933 in London by A & C Black, 1st edition measuring 9 1/2" x 6 1/4" with 87 pages + ads, full page illustrations every other page including 8 color plates and decorated endpapers.

The bottom 2" of the fore edge has an old dampstain not affecting the book's interior; the dustjacket is price clipped, has soiling, ink stain at right front, extremity wear with shallow chip at spine head and 3/4" chip at spine base. The book is solid and otherwise clean; the dj is in a protective cover.
