The original paper covers have been bound in a hardcover blue binding with gilt spine titling. Content includes dance, music, theatre, painting, sculpture, literature and architecture with contributions from Robert M. Hutchins, Max Brod, Georges Rouault, Henry Miller, Gilbert Highet, Dorothy Parker, James T. Farrell and others.

Light cover extremity wear, light soiling to fore edge, one page has a small pencil underlining and margin notation. The book is solid and otherwise clean.
