This listing is for ONE restored advertisement print, not the microphones themselves.
You can purchase your choice of either 1) the 5-mic 1939 “Mike Problems?” ad OR 2) the 2-mic “Broadcasting’s Best” ad, OR 3) the 77-A ad from 1937, all in large 11”x14” print size!
Any of these will look great in your home, studio, lobby, or ham shack; and they are great conversation pieces (based on very positive customer feedback).
Referring to the listing photo ad #1 is a restored RCA mic ad from 1939. It originally appeared in a large-format radio broadcast magazine, and is printed as 11” x 14” in size. It features the entire family of broadcast mics at that time, the 88-A (dynamic), 74-B, 77-B, 77-C, and the 44-BX.
The listing picture ad #2 enlarged restored 2-mic is from 1950. It shows both the 44-BX and the 77-D in an attractive setting, with some specifications and a description.
Ad #3 in this listing is from 1937 and features the large 77-A microphone, with detail so good, you can even see the wrinkle finish!
I painstakingly restored these ads and print the the remastered artwork to order on a photo-quality printer using quality photo paper, ready for you to mount in your own frames. They look brand new, actually much better than the originals… like a time capsule back to the glory days of the ribbon microphone.
As with all prints, they must be displayed behind glass and out of direct sunlight to protect and preserve them. The 11” x 14” prints are a standard size, and frames are readily available at many stores.
Be sure to mention the # and the year of the ads you want after you have purchased them in a note to the seller. If you purchase multiple items from us, we will box this print separately to insure the integrity of the print. Any other purchases can typically be combined.
NOTE: When you purchase, be sure and let me know which ad you want in the memo section or separate message to seller. If you wish ALL THREE you would purchase quantity 3 and then reconfirm that you want one of each advertisement.
