Formed in New York City in 1981, Anthrax became one of the founding forces of American Thrash Metal.

Together with Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth, Anthrax is recognized as one of the legendary Big Four of Thrash Metal.

Their unique combination of aggressive guitar riffs, complex rhythms, melodic vocals and energetic songwriting helped define the genre during the 1980s.

Cursum Perficio represents another chapter in Anthrax's extraordinary career.

Recorded at Studio 606 and produced by Jay Ruston together with the band, the album combines the intensity of classic New York Thrash Metal with powerful modern production.

The recording features eleven compositions showcasing the band's distinctive musical identity.

"Persistence of Memory" introduces the album, followed by "The Long Goodbye," a powerful composition built around aggressive riffs and memorable vocal melodies.

"It's for the Kids" and "Everybody's Got a Plan" continue the band's energetic approach.

"The Edge of Perfection" and "Infectious" demonstrate the band's ability to combine powerful rhythmic arrangements with dynamic songwriting.

"NYC 93" reflects the band's connection to its New York roots.

Joey Belladonna is one of the most recognizable singers in Thrash Metal history.

Founding guitarist Scott Ian is internationally recognized for his unmistakable rhythm guitar technique and influential songwriting.
