Very pretty vintage 1950s / 1960s white long line pettipants with a pink & white lace-trimmed hearts on each leg, giving this piece a "Little Bo Peep" look. In addition, the leg openings are also trimmed in matching pink & white lace.
These have a double diamond gusset for extra comfort. As this pair is longer cut than typical panties, they hit just above the knee (depending on the length of your legs). They have that classic silky soft feel with a nice drape.
This pair is in excellent vintage condition with the minor exception of a tiny pin prick hole about an inch north of the heart on the right knee, probably from being stored - these are after all, over 60 years old and have never been worn.
The original tag is still attached and sewn into the outer side of the elastic waistband, which is in excellent condition. The manufacturer's name is not on the outer tag, however a search of the FTC database for the RN# 14679 shows these were made by MARION-ROHR in Hornell, NY, known locally as "The Panty Shanty", which unfortunately is no longer in business.
The original size tag with fabric content (100% no-run acetate) is marked 7 - L, but pay no attention since these are vintage and probably have no bearing on today's sizes. These would be more like a size 6 or 7 in today's sizes - HOWEVER to ensure a great fit, please compare your measurements to those listed below.
