You are bidding on a genuine New / Old stock pair of Ray-Ban, L2053 Wayfarer, these sunglasses and are made in the USA by Bausch & Lomb. They were produced in the 1980’s, have never been worn, they are complete and in pristine condition.

 

Vintage Ray-Ban L2053 Wayfarer sunglasses combine the original Ray-Ban tortoise shell shading with iconic Bausch & Lomb G-15 mineral glass lenses for a classic look that has stood the test of time. The lenses offer 100% U/V protection, have Impact Resistant Glass, and the frames are made from a high-quality acetate.

 

The quality of these sunglasses has never been surpassed and It's a style and combination were made famous by the movie celebrities from the 1970s to the 1980s, there is a huge difference between these original B&L Ray-Ban Wayfarers and the ones they now make.

 

These unisex Ray-Ban L2053 Wayfarer frame measure approximately 5.5" temple to temple, the G-15 lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.5" at the widest points with both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges.  A raised metal Ray-Ban logo is on the exterior of both ear stems, and the inside of one stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA, on the inside of the other stem it is impressed Wayfarer and on one ear pad is impressed L2053 OSAS.
