You are bidding on a genuine New / Old stock pair of Ray-Ban W1747 Cheyenne Oval 3 shell sunglasses made in the USA by Bausch & Lomb. They were produced in the 80’s / 90’s, have never been worn, they are complete and in a pristine collector’s condition.

Vintage Ray-Ban W1747 Cheyenne Oval 3 sunglasses feature a beautiful blond tortoise shell frame accented by the uniquely shaped and etched gold-plated nose bridge; this is one of the prominent design features of the iconic Ray-Ban Cheyenne sunglasses line.

The tortoise and gold look’s combined with the oval B&L G-15 XLT lenses were developed in the 1990s and are known as the “natural vision” lens, this is because they absorb colours equally across the spectrum and so allow colours to be seen as they truly are.  The G-15 XLT lens is 14% lighter than the G-15 because it has been thinned for extra comfort, and like the original G-15 it provides 85% visible light transmission.

The unisex Ray-Ban W1747 Cheyenne Oval III frame measures approximately 5.375" temple to temple, and the lenses measure approximately 1.875" x 1.375" at the widest points with right lens laser etched Ray-Ban and both lenses laser etched BL near the hinges. The Ray-Ban logo is on an antique gold metal tab on the exterior of one ear stem, and the inside of one stem is impressed.
