Battery Regulation

Return of batteries in accordance with Battery Ordinance (BattV)

According to the BattV, we are obliged to inform you about the regulations and obligations for the disposal and return of used batteries and accumulators:

End users are obliged to return used batteries and accumulators according to § 7 BattV.

Batteries and accumulators containing pollutants are marked with the crossed-out dustbin under which the chemical symbol of the heavy metal contained stands (Cd for cadmium, Hg for mercury and Pb for lead).

Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste.

Batteries and accumulators can be dropped off free of charge at any designated collection and return point

Batteries and accumulators received from us can of course be returned or handed over to us after use.

Disposal of electrical appliances

Information on the environmentally friendly disposal of electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with the Act on the Placing on the Market, Return and Environmentally Friendly Disposal of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ElektroG). Manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment must mark their products placed on the market after 23 November 2005 with a symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) and take them back free of charge.
