A vintage Westar Swiss quartz triple-calendar with moonphase, case reference 8858 engraved on the caseback. The white dial carries three champagne sub-dials for month (12 o'clock), day (3 o'clock) and date (9 o'clock), and a midnight-blue moonphase disc with gold moon and stars at 6 o'clock. The hour markers are applied gold-tone Roman numerals and batons, matched by slim gold-tone hands. It has a sculpted stainless steel case with a gold-tone crown on a matching integrated steel bracelet with gold-tone arch accents on each link. It comes in its original Westar presentation box and outer box.
Westar was launched in the early 1980s by the Al-Futtaim group as a Swiss-made fashion watch brand. It became well known across the Middle East and is now sold in more than 45 countries.
Pre-owned vintage condition with visible signs of use: light to moderate scratches on the case, caseback and bracelet, and some residue around the bezel and lugs. The dial is clean and all calendar sub-dials and the moonphase display are intact. The boxes show storage wear, and the outer cardboard box has worn corners and edges. Please check all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
