5. Installation Steps & Operation Instructions

  1. Check your door thickness is between 35mm–55mm, adjust the latch body to 60mm or 70mm according to door hole size
  2. Install the lock latch body into the door hole, fix the buckle plate on the door frame tightly
  3. Mount front external panel and rear internal panel with matching mounting hardware
  4. Open the rear battery compartment and insert 4 AA alkaline batteries to activate the smart lock system
  5. Download Tuya Smart / Smart Life App, turn on phone Bluetooth and pair with the lock device
  6. Register fingerprints, set fixed passcodes and add IC card users via mobile App
  7. Use anti-peep virtual password: input random numbers before/after real password to hide your PIN
  8. Check real-time unlock records or send temporary one-time codes to guests/tenants on App as needed
  9. Use mechanical backup keys to unlock when battery power is exhausted completely
