This is part of my mother's extensive collection of thimbles. She bought them all over 25 years ago from antique stores before anyone bought anything on the internet, so she paid a lot for them.
Like a Supreme Topping Pizza, this charm bracelet thought of all the sewing tools- Buttons, Thimbles, Sewing Machine, Spindle and Spinning Wheel, Safety Pins and yes, Scissors that open and shut and are even inscribed 'Sterling'. The logo on the scissors may also be a maker's mark but not sure which one.
As you can tell from the photo with the ruler its about 6cm. There is a little hasp that opens nicely to let it be wrapped around your wrist. Everything is so small though, so you might need help to lock the hasp back since you would be working with one hand after you lay it around your wrist.
Just like working with little doll house pieces. Any sewing enthusiast will think these charms are the cat's meow.
I'll be glad to combine shipping if you win several thimbles from me, just let me know and I will wait for the auctions you bid on to end before shipping. See my feedback from many collectors who are enjoying these little historical prizes as part of their collection now.
