This vintage Eterna-Matic pairs a classic 1970s cushion-shaped steel case with a rich blue sunburst dial that deepens toward the edges and lightens at the center as it catches the light. Applied baton markers, slim steel hands, the Eterna five-dot emblem and a framed date window at 3 o'clock keep the layout clean and balanced. The case combines brushed flanks with polished bevels for a sharp, period look on the wrist.

Inside is an automatic movement stamped 2824, with the rotor signed "Eterna-Matic 25 Jewels." ETA, maker of the 2824 caliber, began as Eterna's own movement division, which gives these watches a direct link to one of Switzerland's great movement makers.

Condition:

Genuine vintage piece in pre-owned condition consistent with its age. The blue dial presents well, with a few small spots on the left side near the Eterna emblem. The case shows scratches and wear from use, and the inner case ring around the movement shows some dark marks. The box shows wear on the corners.
