Vintage Point of Italy Merino Wool Blend Jumper – Geometric Knit with Suede Appliqué Panels – Men's Large – Made in Italy. NOTE: there is no official size tag but we estimate this to be between a large/XL.

This is a proper piece of 80s/90s Italian knitwear from Point of Italy. It's a heavyweight crew-neck jumper with a bold chevron and diamond geometric intarsia design in charcoal grey, cobalt blue, bottle green and burgundy. What sets it apart is the suede appliqué diamonds stitched across the front, which give it texture and depth that most knits from the era don't have. The back carries the same zig-zag pattern without the suede, and the sleeves are fully patterned too.

It's the classic "grandpa jumper" look: in the same spirit as the textured Coogi and Carlo Colucci knits of the period, but with a sharper, more graphic design. It has a relaxed, slightly oversized fit with dropped shoulders and ribbed cuffs, hem and neckline.

Condition: Pre-owned, in very good vintage condition. There are no holes, stains or snags, just some light surface fluff consistent with age. Please see all photos.

How to Wear It

  • Relaxed vintage: Wear it with straight-leg or baggy raw denim, a white tee showing at the hem, and chunky trainers or Clarks Wallabees.
  • Smart-casual: Put it over a button-down oxford shirt with the collar out, and add cords or wool trousers and loafers for a Friday-at-the-pub look.
  • Winter layering: Throw a charcoal overcoat or chore jacket over it. The grey base means it works with almost any outerwear, and the colour panels do the talking.
  • Statement piece: Keep everything else plain (black jeans, dark boots) and let the jumper stand out. It's great for Christmas parties without looking like a "Christmas jumper".

  • Please check all photos, measurements and the description carefully. If you have any questions, we're always happy to help before you buy. 
  • Brand new items may show minor signs of storage, such as light creasing or loose fibres from handling. It is also expected that items will be creased during postage. 
  • If there's ever a genuine problem with your order, simply get in touch and we'll resolve it fairly.  

📦 Shipping

  • We book all of our parcels for collection. Cut off is 5pm Monday to Friday for collection the next day. We always use Royal Mail and offer 24 or 48 tracked services.  
  • We reuse clean packaging wherever possible and our own packaging is fully recyclable. 

🔁 Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days where applicable and the buyer pays for return postage. Items must be returned in the same condition, with all tags, packaging and our security tag still attached. Changes in condition or removal of tags will result in deductions from refunds. 
  • Every item is photographed before dispatch, serial numbers noted etc to protect both genuine buyers and ourselves.

  • If you start with an unrealistic offer (e.g. asking for 50% off) - we will reject any further offers from you, regardless of how much.
