One 1981 World Wide Mint 1 oz .999 Fine Silver Art Round - Lady Liberty / American Eagle Design with Small Date. The 1981 World Wide Mint 1 oz .999 Fine Silver Round features an American Eagle design. The main photo shows both the Obverse and Reverse of the same Round. The item you receive is the same item shown.

This vintage silver round was produced by World Wide Mint and is dated with the smaller date, 1981, on the obverse. The small date version is known as Variety 2. The smaller date issue is a less common variety of the 1981-minted art rounds. The distinctive design and characteristics of this variety are visible in the photos. This was privately minted by the former World Wide Mint in Minnesota.

The round displays an attractive Brilliant Uncirculated appearance with cartwheel luster on both sides. Liberty's portrait is sharply detailed, the surrounding stars are crisp, and the eagle on the reverse retains excellent feather and design detail. The reeded edge is clean and well defined. This is an art round, not a coin. This is genuine vintage silver bullion sold based on its vintage collectability as well as its one Troy ounce of silver content. It is not a U.S. Mint issued American Silver Eagle, but it is a genuine silver bullion round that holds its value in silver as well as collector's interest.

Contact marks are more or less visible upon magnification of photo and the angle of lighting. No toning is present. The round is in brilliant uncirculated condition and highly reflective, which mirrors the colors of light and reflects its surroundings.
