Antique vintage metal sewing button with an all-over pattern or design (also sometimes referred to as a diaper or wallpaper pattern). Repeating design is of hand fans... I believe these are Japanese "Uchiwa"... although they could possibly be Chinese hand fans also called "Court fan" or "Wan Shan". In both instances, these are semi-round hand fans with a handle. Button is a mirror back or twinkle design, with a bit of reflection accenting each individual fan. Scarce design.
