About the watch & condition:
Here we have a beautiful Omega Seamaster GMT, originally sold in 2002. This model was released to celebrate 50 years of the Seamaster range (1958). This example has recently undergone a mechanical service in July 2026 at a cost of £384 and is currently running extremely well, keeping time to within around 5 seconds over 24 hours. It has also recently been pressure tested.
The watch has a lovely black wave-patterned dial with the distinctive red GMT hand and date complication. The dial itself is nice and clean, while the hands do show some signs of age and wear around the edges. Overall though, it presents really nicely.
The stainless steel case is in good condition overall with some light scratches and general wear around the edges. It features a bi-directional 24-hour GMT bezel which rotates smoothly in both directions. The bezel does have some light scratches and signs of general wear, but nothing major. We can arrange to have the watch professionally polished for an additional £100 if preferred, although it presents really nicely as it is.
It retains its original Omega screw-down crown which works exactly as it should. The quickset hour hand is also operating correctly, making adjustment of the local time and date nice and straightforward.
It’s sat on its original stainless steel Omega bracelet which shows some typical light scratches and general wear from use, but nothing major. The clasp opens and closes securely with no issues and the bracelet will fit a wrist of approximately 7 1/2 inches or smaller and comes with multiple spare links.
This watch model was originally released in 1998 but this particular watch is dated 2002. It comes with the newer styled box for that period but the older cards due to it being a transitional time. It also comes with its original Omega International Warranty card dated 2002, operating instructions, Omega paperwork pouch, Worldwide Service booklet, Chronometer certificate and original swing tag. Also included is the July 2026 mechanical service receipt for £384, the accompanying recent pressure test report and a recent Watch Register check from us.
