1985 ERA TECHNICS SL-B92

This TECHNICS SL-B92 Belt Drive 1985 ERA Turntable has had a major overhaul and looks GREAT!!  It is amazing what some TLC will do to bring life back into these 40+ year old classics!!

We have meticulously restored this TECHNICS SL-B92 to as close to like-new function and look as possible. The dust cover alone has over an hour of polishing work and is looks amazing!

The device itself has been cleaned/serviced/lubricated from top to bottom and everywhere in-between.We open it up and remove all control buttons for cleaning/lubrication and remove old grease and re-lubricate all the mechanical parts of the pushbutton and slide controls.  We clean and lubricate all the electronic controls as well.  We also strobe and adjust the speed POTS for perfect playback. We removed and serviced the drive motor to ensure years of performance.

We have installed a new high quality drive belt, a new high output SoundBridge SB-M7 T4P phono cartridge with a high quality conical diamond stylus, and a new turntable mat.  As you can see in the video, it looks and sounds great!!  The original 45 adapter is included!  These new parts alone have a $75 value and the service work done on this turntable to renew and repair various issues is worth a minimum of $100.  See the pics of the guts!!

We include a ton of added value compared to a standard second-hand TT you find here on eBay.  We also carefully prepare all units for shipment to make sure they arrive to you in the same condition as when they left our shop. PLEASE compare apples to apples when considering similar turntables.  Please also consider that actual shipping costs run at least $40 and we are only asking for $20 shipping, basically splitting the cost with you.  Turntables are BIG and HEAVY and the packaging materials alone run about $10 per shipment.

Lastly, we want you to know that we source nearly all of our turntables from charities, and we pay a pretty penny for them, so a purchase from us indirectly benefits charitable organizations such as Goodwill and Salvation Army.
