A vintage Longines reference 6273, estimated to date from the early 1950s, combining classic Swiss watchmaking with the balanced proportions of a traditional dress watch. Its 35mm stainless steel case, slender curved lugs and warm cream dial create an understated appearance, complemented by gold-tone hands and applied hour markers.

The dial has been refinished. It features the Longines signature and winged hourglass emblem, a double marker at 12 and a separate small-seconds display at 6. The gold-tone crown provides a warm accent against the steel case.

Inside is the hand-wound Longines caliber 12.68Z. The signed movement carries serial number 8,185,494, while the inner caseback is signed Longines and stamped with reference 6273 and “Acier Inoxydable,” identifying its stainless steel construction. Functions are hours, minutes and small seconds.

The watch is fitted with a black crocodile-pattern leather strap and a Longines-logo buckle. The case and caseback show scratches and age-related wear, including marks around the caseback rim. Please examine the original detail photographs for the visible condition.

Included is the photographed green Longines presentation box. Its exterior has substantial flaking and edge wear, and the cream lining shows age-related marks. The box is supplied as an accompanying accessory; an original factory pairing with this watch is not established.
