The brands walimex pro, walimex and mantona are known for high-quality workmanship, best functionality and customer-oriented service.
To further demonstrate our exceptional level of service, we provide a 24-month warranty promise on all of our products. In addition, we provide a 6-year guarantee for all walimex and walimex pro lenses purchased from June 1st, 2015. This warranty cannot be applied retroactively to lenses purchased before June 1, 2015.
Items that are expressly sold as B-goods are excluded from the guarantee.
We give you a 30-year guarantee for all milled products in the Aptaris series that are made of aluminum. Wear parts, moving parts or products that are not made of aluminum are not covered by the warranty. Whether the 30-year guarantee can be claimed for your product will be indicated in the respective product description by the guarantee seal shown.
When it comes to the process, we only have a few guidelines, mostly regulated by law:
This guarantee does not limit the end user's claims against his supplier (specialist dealer). As a private end user, you are entitled to a statutory warranty claim directly against your specialist dealer/supplier.
The start of the extended warranty is determined by the date of sale to the end user, the duration is limited to 24 months from this date. If the guarantee is claimed, this must be proven with the original receipt (invoice or packing slip) when submitting.
WALSER's guarantee promise can only be claimed if your device and all documents necessary to prove it are provided to us. Documents include the invoice from WALSER, if applicable. the supply invoice from the supplying dealer and a description of the error. The documents must already be enclosed when sending in. The shipment must be made free of charge for us (free of charge).
WALSER's guarantee promise is valid in Europe, in the areas of the European Union, the European Economic Area, Turkey, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Switzerland. Purchased and used exclusively in these countries. If the country of use is different from the country of purchase, the Service will be provided in accordance with the rules and conditions in the country of use, unless the warranty period in the country of purchase is longer than in the country of use. In this case, the warranty period is that which corresponds to the country of purchase.
Scope of warranty: The extended warranty is limited to demonstrably visible defects due to manufacturing and/or material defects. Cosmetic and paint defects are expressly not covered by the guarantee. At Foto Walser's discretion, the warranty service is carried out through repair, replacement of defective components, exchange of the entire device or reimbursement of the purchase price.
In the case of settlement with foreign currencies, the daily exchange rate applies. No warranty claims can be made in the event of improper use, parts subject to wear, consumables, batteries, rechargeable batteries, lamps, flash tubes, paper backgrounds, transport damage, third-party intervention, products that have changed from the delivery condition, improper operation (non-observance of the operating instructions), shock, impact, fall, inadequate care and/or cleaning, excessive wear and contamination, use of incorrect materials, lightning strikes, overvoltage as well as for Liquid and acid damage of any kind. Devices from which the serial number has been removed are also excluded from the warranty.
Services carried out on devices within the scope of the guarantee or warranty do not extend the overall guarantee period.
Goodwill of any kind remains the sole decision of the WALSER service manager.
In principle, however, the following applies: during the guarantee and warranty period or after the guarantee period in the event of damage, you should contact us. We are sure that we can work with you to find a solution quickly and unbureaucratically.
