Antique Rumford Cake Mixer Cream Whip & Slotted Spoon 1908 Patent Advertising

Wonderful lot of 2 antique/vintage Rumford Baking Powder advertising kitchen utensils.

The larger utensil is the unusual Saltsman's Improved Royal Cake Mixer & Cream Whip, measuring approximately 12" long. It is marked RUMFORD along with Saltsman's Improved Royal and the Oct. 6, 1908 patent date. This unusual early kitchen gadget was designed for mixing cake batter and whipping or creaming ingredients.

Also included is a Rumford advertising slotted spoon measuring approximately 10" long, marked RUMFORD and THE WHOLESOME BAKING POWDER on the handle.

The cake mixer is in excellent antique/vintage condition with a particularly nice appearance for its age. The slotted spoon shows considerably more surface wear, discoloration and signs of kitchen use, as shown.

Wonderful pieces of early American advertising and kitchen history, perfect for a collection of antique kitchen utensils, baking advertising or primitive kitchenware.
