Hinge Repair Cabinet Plate Kit Installation Method

Step 1: Use appropriate tools to carefully remove the hinge that needs repair. Be careful not to damage the surrounding areas. After removal, pick up the hinge repair plate and gently tear off its protective film to prepare for installation.

Step 2: Fix the hinge back on the repair plate and ensure that the hole positions of the hinge are aligned with the pre-drilled small holes on the fixing plate.

Step 3: Select the attached screws and place them in the reserved holes. Tighten them with a screwdriver (screwdriver is not provided, needs to be prepared by yourself). Make sure the plate closely attached to the cabinet door. Note: The fixing plate is a hard object and requires a little more force when installing screws.

Step 4: After fixation, gently shake the cabinet door to ensure that the repair plate is firmly fixed and the hinge will not fall off again. If the hinge on the other side is also damaged, install another fixing plate according to the above steps.

Q1: The screw is difficult to screw into the small hole?

A1: The small holes are for better fixing of the “hinges-fixing pieces-doors”, and since both the cabinet and the door hinge repair kit are relatively hard, please screw them in with more more more force!

A2: This situation may be caused by the hinge screws being relatively short. In this case, you can try using the screws we provided. If neither type of screw can fix the hinge to the cabinet door, it indicates that the hinge model and plate are not compatible. If possible, you can find a longer hinge screw to install or get in touch with us.

Q3: Hinges won't align with holes in cabinet hinge repair plate.

A3: This situation is caused by the incompatibility between the hinge and the fixing plate. Although our plates can fit most hinges, there may be differences in some models.
