Vintage German Cherry Pitter Aluminum 3 Leg Fruit Stoner Press Removable Insert

Unusual vintage cherry pitter / fruit stoner, marked Made in Germany.

This is a substantial old-fashioned countertop style pitter made primarily of aluminum, with a tall screw-operated plunger and three-legged base. It measures approximately 9" tall, with the legs approximately 2 1/2" apart.

The fruit cup has a removable center ring/insert, which is still present. The insert shows wear from use. It may have allowed the pitter to accommodate different sizes or types of fruit, but I have not confirmed its exact intended purpose.

The screw mechanism moves and the piece is in good overall vintage condition with expected surface wear, oxidation/patina and signs of use. No major damage noted. Please see photos for condition.

A fantastic piece of vintage German kitchen equipment—great for a kitchen utensil collection, farmhouse display, primitive kitchen decor, or someone who still enjoys using old-fashioned food preparation tools.
