The original right controller developed a strange tracking quirk. Occasionally the tracking doesn't work correctly when first connected, but removing the battery for around 30 seconds and reinserting it gets it working again.
Rather than mess around with it, I bought a brand-new replacement right controller which works perfectly. The original controller is included free as an extra/spare.
