Vintage Craftsman 9.5" Water Pump Pliers Slip Joint Forged USA Early Style Tool

Vintage Craftsman adjustable water pump / slip-joint pliers, measuring approximately 9 1/2" long.

These are an earlier style of adjustable pliers with multiple slip-joint positions for changing the jaw opening. The jaws have serrated gripping surfaces for use on pipe, fittings, nuts and general shop work.

Marked CRAFTSMAN and FORGED IN USA. There is also a small maker/forging mark consisting of the letter N inside a square.

Good usable vintage condition. The pliers open, close and adjust properly. They show noticeable cosmetic wear, scratches, finish loss and other marks from years of use, as shown in the photos. The jaw teeth still appear quite good.

Nice old USA-made Craftsman tool for a working toolbox or vintage tool collection.
