Original
1936 brochure promoting travel to Europe via American Airlines and the
Hindenburg Airship. The brochure was produced as a joint venture between American
Airlines and Deutsche-Zeppelin Reederei. American Airlines would fly passengers
from around the United States to the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey,
where the passengers would then board the Airship Hindenburg for the trip to
Frankfurt, Germany. The last page of the brochure promotes the 1936 Olympics
that were held in Berlin, Germany. Brochure details the flights, accommodations,
amenities, time of travel, and fares from various locations in the United
States. Nice piece of American Airlines, Hindenburg, and Olympics history. This
was found with a torn and tattered newspaper article on the Hindenburg disaster
and will be included with this brochure. Long in storage, some splits along
folds, not faded, colors still bright, see photos for details. NO LOCAL PICKUPS. We try to give an
accurate description of condition issues and photos of the items should be
scrutinized. Please email if you need higher resolution scans. If you have
