WHAT IT IS

The 311 is Wagner's High Efficiency Airless (HEA) tip for thin,

low-viscosity coatings: varnishes, lacquers, wood stains, oils and

release agents. HEA runs at lower pressure than conventional airless,

cutting overspray by up to 55% and giving a softer spray jet. Less

masking, less wasted material, fewer stripes across a panel.

WHICH TIP DO I NEED?

Wagner HEA tips use standard airless numbering: first digit doubled is

the fan width in inches, last two digits are the orifice in thousandths

of an inch.

  311 - about a 6 in fan, fine orifice. Varnish, lacquer, stain, oil.

  411 / 413 - wider fan for walls and larger flat areas.

  517 - larger orifice for thicker emulsions and masonry paint.

Choose 311 for control and finish quality on joinery, doors, furniture,

fences and decking.
