The DSLRKIT P1G-4CH-4PAIR-MID adds power to an existing switch or router through four 10/100/1000Mbps channels. Each LAN IN connects to its matching PoE OUT; each channel needs its own upstream LAN port.

Compatible with IEEE 802.3af (PoE), 802.3at (PoE+) and 802.3bt (PoE++) powered devices. This passive injector does not perform IEEE power negotiation. Some PDs requiring active PoE may limit power or fail to start. Confirm voltage and pinout. Do not connect non-PoE equipment directly to PoE OUT.

4-pair power: up to 2A/port. 2-pair Mode A or B: up to 1.1A per path. A suitable 52-56V supply enables up to 90W per output before cable loss. Applications include high-power IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) splitters, IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++)-powered passthrough switches, wireless access points, wireless bridges, IP cameras and VoIP phones.

Use ONE DC input: 5.08mm terminal, 12-56V/8A max total; or 5.5 x 2.5mm center-positive jack, 12-56V/6A max total. Maximum terminal input: 56V x 8A = 448W (approx. 450W). No voltage conversion; all outputs share one supply voltage. Pins 1/2/4/5 positive; 3/6/7/8 negative.

Eight resettable PTCs: one per Mode A/B path. In 2-pair use, one PTC protects the active path; in 4-pair use, both operate, each protecting its own path. Includes N-MOSFET input reverse-polarity protection, transient suppression and a chassis grounding point.

Upper and lower thermal pads transfer heat to the metal case. For frequent full-load use or prolonged operation above 5A total input current, provide good ventilation or mount to a heat-dissipating metal surface. Available output depends on the supply, cables and cooling.
