This is an outstanding original WWII Royal Air Force (RAF) Flying Sergeant's service uniform set dating to 1945. This complete ensemble includes the tunic, matching trousers, and RAF service cap, making it an excellent display set for the serious military collector, re-enactor, or aviation museum.

The tunic remains in used, very good condition and retains its original interior manufacturer's label, clearly dated 1945 and marked Size No. 8. It is also correctly Broad Arrow government acceptance marked, confirming official wartime British military issue. The front of the tunic displays the desirable half-wing brevet with the letter "S," denoting a specialist aircrew qualification, while both sleeves retain the original Flying Sergeant (SGT) rank chevrons with King's Crown brass insignia mounted above the stripes. All original buttons remain present, adding to the authenticity and completeness of the uniform.

Included is the original RAF service cap fitted with its correct brass Royal Air Force cap badge. The cap is marked Size 58 and displays beautifully, complementing the uniform perfectly.

The matching wartime trousers are the correct WWII issue and are a 36 x 30 size. They are in very good condition with no moth nips or damage, making them increasingly difficult to find in such well-preserved condition.
