Tuff Cab is back - and tougher than ever.
From September 2026, Tuff Cab is manufactured using a completely new formulation, developed to retain the easy application and distinctive professional finish Tuff Cab is known for, while providing an even tougher and more consistent coating.
This Matt Black version provides a lower-sheen professional finish, suitable for new loudspeaker cabinet builds as well as refurbishment of existing enclosures.

Coverage
Tuff Cab offers very good coverage, although the amount required varies considerably depending on the surface, number of coats, texture and application method.
Bare MDF, plywood and other absorbent timber surfaces will normally require at least two coats. The first coat generally uses more paint as it seals and covers the bare surface, while subsequent coats usually require considerably less and help produce an even texture and finish.
When refurbishing cabinets with a sound existing painted surface, a single coat may often be sufficient to refresh the finish.
New Formulation
Tuff Cab manufactured from September 2026 replaces previous versions of the product. Customers matching or touching up older black Tuff Cab finishes should allow for possible differences in colour, sheen and texture.

Please avoid using eCheque payments (payments funded by direct debit) - eCheque payments can take up to 2 weeks to clear and your order will be held up until the process is complete. We can only ship orders to the registered PayPal address.
Please make sure you select the correct address at the PayPal payment screen as your order will be processed automatically and may be despatched before we can change it.

You can combine purchases for reduced carriage cost. If the carriage cost ebay works out seems too much, please click 'Request total from seller' in the checkout and we'll recalculate it and give you a discount if possible - please remember we can only respond during normal business hours. IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION
Please check the parcel on delivery and note any damages when signing for the goods. All damages should be reported to us within 24 hours. Providing you contact us within 24 hours, and can supply appropriate photographic evidence, we can normally replace damaged items next working day. Please be aware that we can only respond during normal business hours
For small parcels we use Royal Mail Signed For or Tracked services. Larger items will be sent by courier, usually DPD or Fedex UK. You will receive a tracking number by email for your delivery from our sales team at bluearan.co.uk and may also receive an email update from our courier with an estimated delivery time.
Delivery prices for courier deliveries (Next-Day and Other Courier) are for UK mainland only. Scottish Isles, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are not included and extra carriage charges may be payable. Please contact us before you buy if you need delivery to these locations.
All our deliveries require a signature so please make sure someone will be at home. If there is no-one available to sign for the goods they will be taken back to the delivery depot and a card will be left at the delivery address. Please follow the instructions on the card to arrange redelivery or to collect the goods. If you do not contact the delivery company within a few days the goods may be returned to us and there may be additional charges to redeliver the item.
Please take time to make sure that your details are up to date and that you select the correct address so your order gets to you quickly and easily. Sometimes its worth adding a work address or relative's address to your PayPal account so there is someone available to sign for the delivery.
If you haven't received your order soon after us despatching it, or have a question about your delivery please contact us. Please note that courier deliveries are generally delivered within 2 working days of despatch, however Royal Mail Post can take up to 10 working days for parcels. Royal Mail do not consider post to be lost until 15 working days after the date of posting.

Not happy with your item?
If after you have received your order you realise it was the wrong item, or just not quite what you expected you may return the item to us for a refund if the following conditions are met:
- You tell us within 14 days of receiving the item
- The item is NEW and UNUSED
- The packaging is complete and intact
- Any software is still sealed and unregistered
This satisfaction guarantee allows you to see the item in the flesh and decide if you are totally happy with what you just bought BEFORE you start using it. If you have started using an item (or its after 14 days) and you decide its wrong for you then we can accept some items back for refund or credit against a new order however there may be a restocking fee depending on the item and packaging condition. You are responsible for the return carriage costs and must make sure the item is well packaged.
We aim to resolve all problems as quickly as possible and you can contact us by telephone, email or via ebay. Please do not send items back without contacting us first to open a help ticket and obtain a return number and return address.
* Any items cut to length (e.g. cable off the reel, speaker cloth, etc) are excluded from the distance selling regulations, and may not be returned.
** Please note that we frequently log serial numbers, and utilise visible and invisible security marking on goods we ship out. We will only accept returns of items purchased from us, and serial numbers and/or other quality control marking we utilise must match. If you return faulty goods purchased elsewhere, we will not issue refunds, or provide replacements, and you will need to make arrangements to collect the goods from our warehouse.

Unless the listing says otherwise, all the items we sell are brand new, sealed in original packaging and are covered by a full 12 month warranty. We are an authorised dealer for all the brands we sell. Excessive wear or misuse are not covered under warranty, nor are consumable items like fog fluid and lamps. If you have a problem with any products purchased from Blue Aran Ltd please contact us as soon as possible. Within 30 days faulty items are normally replaced, after this time the item may be repaired as appropriate.
