Gentry was a legendary, short-lived mid-century quarterly renowned for its incredible production quality, high-end literary contributions, avant-garde graphics, and unique multi-sensory presentations. Approx. 12 in by 9 in.

- Cover: A stunning, vibrant Japanese woodblock-style print depicting the legendary warrior monk Saitō no Oniwakamaru (Benkei) wrestling a giant carp.
- Interior Highlights: Includes a beautifully curated multi-page art portfolio dedicated to Katsushika Hokusai ("Artist in pursuit of Essentiality, Simplification, Movement" with text by W. Lully), alongside classic mid-century fashion, lifestyle features, and literary essays.
Condition & Completeness Notes:
- Inserts: Includes the original bound-in red Gentry business reply subscription envelope completely intact and attached to the spine (see photos). This ephemeral insert is highly prone to being torn out and missing from most copies on the market.
- Overall Condition: Very Good vintage condition. The interior pages are remarkably clean, flat, and sharp with excellent color preservation. The cover retains its brilliant color.
- Wear to Note: Typical light shelf wear along the edges and spine. There is a prominent surface crease across the top right corner of the back cover, and minor delamination/splitting on the lower left corner of it too. Please review all high-resolution photos carefully to assess the exact condition. I tried to show all details.
