Mid 1900s Military Storage Chest

This characterful, crate style military chest is thought to date from the mid 1900s. Original metalwork and rope handles coupled with the utilitarian design hint at a life in the military. The knocks and marks of time have been retained, ghosts of stamped letters and feint markings can still be seen. The attractive grain and authentic appearance make this an appealing addition to any room. Simply sealed with a soft wax to enhance and preserve the finish this useful chest is ready for a new life.

Perfect as a statement coffee or side table in living room it is capacious enough to work well in a hallway or boot room for storing footwear or sports equipment.
