Antique porcelain fish platter measuring 23 by 9 inches.
The elongated oval body features white porcelain with a central hand-painted underwater scene depicting 2 brook trout swimming past bright green aquatic foliage. The background showcases light blue and white water ripple texturing.
The hand-painted fish motifs exhibit minor original factory manufacturing flaws, consisting of a cluster of small dark brown kiln ash specks on the gill area of the lower trout and an isolated pinhead-sized glaze pop on the side body.
The wide outer rim profile features an intricate, continuous scrollwork border pattern applied in a matte gold-colored finish, framed by a bright gold-toned thin outer edge band.
The clean white underside features a green underglaze factory stamp reading T&V FRANCE inside a shield configuration. The back surface also bears a secondary gold overglaze retailer mark reading Guy 49, Rue d’Antibes Cannes LIMOGES France.
The porcelain displays zero post-factory chips, hairline cracks, or structural repair patches.
