A rare and exceptionally charismatic 1970s Orient King Diver—one of the most dramatic vintage Japanese dive-watch designs, presented here in the highly desirable black-and-orange configuration.

The substantial 45.5mm cushion case carries the original-style steel bracelet and frames a spectacularly busy dial: deep black centre, vivid orange minute scale, white segmented track, luminous markers and a rotating internal countdown ring. It has genuine presence on the wrist and a dial design that is unmistakably King Diver.

Powered by Orient’s 21-jewel automatic movement, the watch is currently running well for a vintage timepiece. The date changes through the first crown click, while the bilingual Arabic/English day advances over a 24-hour cycle. The internal rotating ring is fully functional and turns correctly.

The stainless-steel caseback retains the Orient King Diver emblem, and the watch is accompanied by the photographed period Orient presentation box. The box is included as shown but is not represented as the original box issued with this exact watch.

Condition is honest vintage: case, bracelet and crystal show age-related scratches and wear visible in the photographs. Service history is unknown; no guarantee of modern accuracy, power reserve or water resistance is offered.

A seldom-seen orange-and-black King Diver with the correct oversized 1970s silhouette, working bilingual calendar and rotating internal ring—an outstanding piece for the serious Orient collector.
