Original ROLEX “Green Stripe” Box Set, for Vintage Sport Models as: Daytona, GMT, Submariner, Sea-Dweller, and Explorer. References: 6239, 6240, 6241, 6242, 6542, 6538, 6536, 5512, 5513, 1680, 1675, 1665, 5512, 1016. Made in Switzerland. Circa 1960's

 Outer cardboard “Green Stripe” box, signed “Rolex” and logo on the cover’s green stripe. The inner green leather “Coffin” or “Pyramid” box has the Rolex crown embossed on cover, and decorated with gilt frames. Base signed “Montres Rolex S.A. Geneve Suisse, 11.00.2”. By inside, cover is lined with white silk, and  signed “Creation Geneve, Rolex”, and base is lined with green velvet. Original watch holder included, lined with green velvet too.

Dimension: Inner box: 4.88” x 3.77” x 2.12” inches tall (124 x 96 x 54 millimeters). Outer box: 5.51”x 4.44” x 2.32” inches tall (140 x 113 x 59 millimeters).

Condition: Inner box: Very good, with minor signs of use. Cover and hinges working properly. Outer cardboard: Very good too fortunately, but as a vintage cardboard box, you will find some aged tone, and some minor worn cardboard on corners and edges (please check the larger photographs for details).
